Darryl Tannock

My name is Darryl & I have always had a fascination with music, in particular, Australian Pop & Rock. Being part of the "Countdown Generation" six o'clock on Sunday nights was almost a religion for me.

When I started travelling around Australia, the only form of entertainment in the very remote areas that I worked in was the humble AM radio which thankfully was instrumental in maintaining my sanity in those days.

I know that many people still rely on radio even with the multitude of other options available these days. Radio certainly still plays an important part in the community.
Ten years ago I was able to become a "Mobile DJ" which I enjoy thoroughly and I thought that given this opportunity with Shoalhaven FM, I could share my passion for Aussie music with the rest of the Shoalhaven.
